Anne Frank Exhibit Coming to Wando

Anne Frank Exhibit The Wando English Dept. is pleased to announce that the “Anne Frank - A History For Today” International Traveling Exhibit will be at Wando High School next month. Twenty Wando freshman will be part of a two-day training about the Second World War and the danger of persecution. They will then serve as tour guides for their peers through the exhibition in Media Center from October 7th - 25th. We encourage any teachers who feel their students may benefit from this exhibit to sign up for a tour.

All visits last ½ hour and will take place in the Media Center.

About the exhibition:

The international traveling exhibition “Anne Frank - A History For Today” places the story of AnneFrank against the backdrop of the Second World War and the Holocaust. The heart of the exhibition consists of quotations from Anne Frank’s diary and the Frank family’s photographs.

The Anne Frank House in Amsterdam is co-ordinating this project in cooperation with the University of South Carolina.
