I am honored to be chosen as the Teacher of the Year for Oakland Elementary!  This means a lot to me to be recognized by my peers after 22 years of teaching.  The people that I work with, I consider family.  We have been through a tumultuous three years with Covid in our classrooms, which has demanded us to become even more creative with our time and efforts.  I look forward to the roundtable meetings so that I can continue advocating for our staff, our students,our community, and our profession.
