Demonstration of SC Future Makers Program at North Charleston High School
SCMA is working to connect interested students with local businesses looking for future employees
On Tuesday, December 4th, the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance (SCMA) and STEM Premier presented the SC Future Makers program to seniors and faculty at North Charleston High School.
This initiative uses the STEM Premier platform to engage students to create profiles that assist in recruitment to colleges and employers. SC Future Makers is a first-in-the-nation workforce program that empowers students to connect to opportunities with companies. Already, more than 60,000 South Carolina students have signed up and created profiles on the SC Future Makers platform.
