Week of the Young ChildMary Ford Early Learning & Family Center proudly celebrated the National Association for the Education of Young Children's (NAEYC) "Week of the Young Child" with a series of engaging activities centered around music, foods, teamwork, the arts, and families. The week, starting on April 15, 2024, kicked off with a special proclamation read by Kim Foxworth, Executive Director of Early Childhood Readiness Programs, emphasizing the importance of early childhood education and community involvement.

The highlight of the week was the vibrant art show, which showcased the artistic talents of young students. Held on “Artsy Thursday” the event drew enthusiastic participation from the school community with over 120 attendees.
