CCSD Digital Resources with Access Instructions

The link above lists the digital resources provided by CCSD and explains how students access them by logging into MyPortal and Clever. 

Students have 24/7 access to these digital resources.

 

NEED TECHNICAL SUPPORT?

 between 8 AM - 4 PM

 

If students experience a technical problem, our IT Help Desk is staffed with technicians to assist. The Help Desk is available between the hours of 8 AM - 4 PM.

Call the CCSD Help Desk for:

  • Login issues relating to CCSD network login, MyPortal login, or Clever login. 

  • Problems with CCSD devices 

 

Device Broken and in need of Repair or Replacement?

Step 1: Call the Help Desk at 843-849-3400

Step 2: If a technician thinks you need a repair or replacement, he or she will advise you to take your device to a repair/replacement location.  Technicians from Charleston County School District's Information Technology Department will be at locations throughout the county to exchange broken CCSD-issued devices with working devices. This support is being offered to both students and CCSD staff who need to replace a device.

** If a device is broken or is not functioning, be sure you have called the Help Desk at 843-849-3400 and asked for help before going for in-person help.  Many issues can be resolved over the phone.

 

Filtering

Every effort is made to monitor and filter all internet activity to prevent access to questionable sites.  Parents should always monitor the internet activity of their children.

 

Internet Access

If you do not currently have internet access at your home students can go to one of our facilities.  The Wi-Fi signal has been enhanced at all of our schools so that access outside of the building is possible.  CCSD iPads and Chromebooks will automatically connect to our network.

CCSD is also providing buses equipped with WiFi service.  Buses equipped with WiFi service will be stationed at various locations from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. weekdays .(These sites started Friday, March 20, 2020).

Resetting iPads

If you experience difficulties connecting your student’s iPad to the internet, you may need to reset the device.  Instructions can be found here.
