Mary Ford Early Learning and Family Center hosted the third fatherhood initiative meeting on the evening of March 31st. A group of 13 fathers had the opportunity to be empowered by a group of dynamic speakers consisting of community, and district leaders. The discussion included the importance of fathers in their children’s academic, and social-emotional lives. They also discussed the importance of being present in the lives of our young children. Mr. Eduardo Curry of Charleston Promise Neighborhood is leading Mary Ford’s Fatherhood Initiative and has accepted the challenge to build the Fatherhood Program.
