RELEASE DATE: April 22, 2024

Charleston County School District (CCSD) Teacher Leader educators AJ Barnes (CCSD Human Resources), Patrick Martin (Charleston County School of the Arts), and Lindsay Skillman (West Ashley High School) presented at the CofC Research EXPOThursday, April 18, 2024.

They are part of a CCSD Teacher Leader Cohort taking a sequence of graduate courses to expand the knowledge, skills, and influence in curriculum, assessment, and professional impact in the district.

Participating in research, creative activities or community service projects can be one of the most important aspects of college life. When students and faculty work together on projects, students gain knowledge and training, and they learn skills that are important to employers and in graduate school. The College of Charleston Research EXPO allows students to present their work to the campus community.
