Cooper River CAS Career and Technical students recognized as new inductees in National Technical Honor Society

Career and Technical students at Cooper River Center for Advanced Studies were honored November 9, 2023 as the newest inductees into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), the honor society for Career & Technical Education (CTE). Ten students were inducted for membership based on their skill development and academic achievement in their Career & Technical courses. Cooper River Center CAS hosted a reception and formal ceremony for the inductees and their parents.
Students must have an overall 3.0 grade point average (GPA), a minimum 3.0 GPA in their career pathway and free of any discipline infractions to be inducted.
Since 1984, NTHS has been the honor society for CTE, serving high schools, career centers, community and technical colleges, and universities. Recognizing over 50,000 new members annually, NTHS exists to advocate for and empower all students to pursue the technical and academic skills needed to build their careers and a skilled global workforce.
