Two cross-country runners from Charleston County School District won individual state titles at the South Carolina High School League state meets on November 11, 2023, at Newberry College.

SCHSL AAAAA Boys

Wando High School's Jake Liebert completed his high school career in the sport with a three-peat in the AAAAA boys' race. The senior posted a time of 15.19.79 (nearly 28 seconds faster than the runner-up) to win his third straight state championship.

SCHSL AA Boys

Quinn Swanton, a junior at Academic Magnet High School, won the AA boys' title with time of 15:52.20, helping lead the Raptors to a second-place finish in the team standings.
