Black History Month Poster Contest

Who: YOU! Everyone! (You can work on it with a partner but you split the prize!)

What: A poster contest that involves our Contest Quote. You must include your quote on the poster in some way but you can illustrate what it means to you. It’s your Poster!

When: February 1st through February 21st

Where: Please turn in your” poster” to Mrs. Gildea or your homeroom teacher.

Why: To celebrate Black History Month!

How:

  1. “Posters” will be submitted on an 8.5 x 11 white paper (copy paper)

  2. Posters must include the quote somewhere on it. 

  3. No 3-D elements (has to be flat)

  4. On the back, write name and HR teacher (lightly in pencil!)

  • 3 to 5 finalists will be chosen by our Culture & Community Team. Full size posters will be made out of our finalists and hung in the cafeteria. Students will vote via Google form on the winner.

  • Winner will receive lunch delivered to them and a teacher they choose! All finalists will receive a full size poster of their art!
