Congratulations to Mr. James Dean for being selected as the Cooper River Center for Advanced Studies Teacher of the Year. 

Mr. Dean strengthens and improves the teaching profession by developing positive relationships with his students.His soft and welcoming demeanor makes his students feel welcome and like they belong and is instrumental in developing their minds to prepare them for a future career in media technology.

Mr. Dean has five years of teaching experience and over 20 years experience working in television, where he has won a Southeast Emmy Award along with two Georgia Associated Press of Media Editors Awards.
