Attorney General Alan Wilson speaks to students about human trafficking
Statistics and data are presently scarce for human trafficking at both the national and state level, due in large part to the underground nature of the crime. But SC Attorney General Alan Wilson is dedicated to bringing prevention awareness to students across the state. He visited West Ashley High School in Charleston Monday, September 30, 2019 to talk about human trafficking and online safety.
“Preventing Human Trafficking in South Carolina is a main focus area within the State’s plan to address the crime,” said Wilson. “Prevention is one of the most important tasks of our collective. The more educated our communities, the closer we become in preventing individuals from being victimized.”
