Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg announces the Khris Middleton and the Middleton Family Foundation’s donation of uniforms for the BHS boys and girls basketball teams at the Burke v St. John’s game on Tuesday night. Below is a statement by the donor:    

• "Khris Middleton and the Middleton Family Foundation recognize and value the importance of extra-curricular activities in youth development. The Middleton family is proud to support the student-athletes at Burke High School with new basketball uniforms and wish them much success this basketball season and the remainder of the academic school year."
