"Learning at Home" during School Closure

On Friday, March 13, every student at AOE was sent home with a “Learn at Home” Notebook and supply baggie in their backpacks. This notebook and baggie includes 10 days of instructional work that your child will complete while out of school.

We will "officially" begin Day 1 of the notebook this Wednesday, March 18. These grade-level specific “Learn at Home” plans are also available in our Parent/Family Resource folder online at this link:  .This folder also contains a suggested daily schedule, teacher office hours to answer your questions, additional digital learning resources and more. You will sign off that your child has completed the work and your child’s teacher will check this work upon return for completion. If your child is served through SAIL, ELL or resource classes, those teachers have provided additional differentiated work for your child.

If your child was absent or checked out early on Friday, his/her notebook can be picked up from Angel Oak Elementary between the hours of 10 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Monday 3/16) and from 8-11 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday 3/17). During this time, students can get items needed from their classrooms, as well.
