The annual Allegro Battle of the Bands concert will take place on Wednesday, May 12th at Runnymede Plantation which is located at 3760 Ashley River Road. The show will start at 6:00pm. This venue is graciously being donated to Allegro so that we can put on a socially distanced show for parents and students. If you aren’t familiar with Runnymede, it is a very large outdoor area with an 11,000 square foot tent and lots of room to socially distance. Tickets to this event are $5 per person or $20 for a family. Below is the link to purchase your tickets. The Allegro Student Council will be at the event selling pre-packaged snacks and drinks. We will also have t-shirts for sale!
There are only a handful of bands competing this year, so the Music Department has decided to have other students perform during the intermission. We are doing this to give other students a chance to perform since there will be no Spring Show this year. If your child is performing, a music instructor will reach out to you to solidify the details and the time of their performance.
This is a rain-or-shine event, unless there is extremely severe weather. We will have a few chairs available, but we are recommending that each family bring blankets, outdoor chairs, umbrellas, and rain jackets for ease and comfort.
