Support the Annual Battle of the Bands

Per the orders of the Governor, Allegro Charter School of Music will be closed March 16th through March 31st. Due to this closure we have indefinitely postponed this event. We will update our community if and when this event is rescheduled.

We want to thank you for your support of Allegro Charter School of Music, and share details of an exciting event coming soon which we hope will be of interest.

Our students have been working hard, rehearsing and collaborating, for our annual Battle of the Bands on Saturday, March 28th from 2 to 4 pm at The Pour House, 1977 Maybank Highway.

The Battle of the Bands is one of Allegro's signature events, and a wonderful way for our students to spotlight their talent and build camaraderie. We've been holding a Battle of the Bands since our very first year, and each one gets bigger and better! This year, we will be honoring the memory of Mr. Bradley Benvenuti with a Stage Presence Award in his name.

None of this is possible without the support of the Allegro community, and we are offering various sponsorships for this year’s Battle of the Bands. We hope you will consider a gift at whatever level works for you. You will be helping our students make music and memories!

In addition to sponsorships, we are selling tickets for Battle of the Bands at $5 per person, or a family pass for $20.

For Battle of the Bands, we have many costs including the venue rental, prizes and gift bags for the members of our bands who've worked so hard, and expenses related to instruments, repairs and other necessary gear. But year in and year out, the event is worth every dollar, and it means so much to everyone at Allegro.

We're looking forward to a great afternoon of music (including the teachers’ bands!), and hope to see you there!
