CCSD and RiverDogs move into seventh year of “Reading Around the Bases” partnership
CCSD and the Charleston RiverDogs, the Lowcountry’s professional baseball team (and Single-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays) will start the seventh season of their second-grade reading initiative, “Reading Around the Bases.”

Meeting Street Scholarship
The scholarship is made available by The Meeting Street Scholarship Fund. To qualify, you must reside in Charleston County, graduate from a Charleston County public high school, earn the SC Life or Palmetto Fellows scholarship, receive a need-based Federal Pell Grant, and enroll in an eligible South Carolina college with a 50% or higher graduation rate.
