Greetings from the Principal

  • Dear Beckham Families,

In this time of uncertainty, the Lucy Beckham High School Staff wants you to know that we are continuing to work towards our goal of being ready for students in August 2020.

Building construction is progressing nicely and on schedule.  Classrooms and collaborative spaces are close to being able to receive furniture, books and supplies.

We have been so excited to introduce our faculty to everyone.  To date, we have welcomed, on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, our Science Department and Social Studies Department.  You can also find these introduction pieces in our website photo gallery.Keep watching social media and our website for other exciting news and names  as we continue to rollout our faculty and staff.

For those families in our attendance zone who are new to CCSD or are returning to CCSD from private or charter schools, our staff is still available, through video conferencing, to register new students and help them with their class selections.  If you are interested in meeting virtually with our registration team, please give us a call at 843-996-2832 or 843-856-6570 or you may click the Enroll Now link on our website. If needed, we are also available to discuss how the new SC High School League ruling may impact athletic eligibility dependent on your student’s attendance zone.

And last but not least, we want to thank all of the people in our community working to keep us safe: grocery store employees, pharmacists, delivery truck drivers, mental health workers, nurses and doctors and you, our families, who are practicing social distancing.  Remember 6 feet is the length of a smallish tiger. Stay safe, Bengals!  social distancing tiger
