We’ve had ongoing issues with ILT this year. The overall decline in students’ behavior since the return from COVID is a major concern. We had hoped to add more supervision to address these issues but given the events of today and earlier this week, we need to move to two lunches going forward. It is unfortunate because there are many benefits to ILT like time for academic assistance and club meetings. Our first, and top priority is to ensure a safe learning environment. Going back to a traditional lunch model will allow us to more closely monitor our students during lunch. We will have more additional police on campus for the remainder of the week.
Have a nice day.
