The district’s Department of Student Transportation works to provide an efficient, cost-effective, and reliable transportation service for students and parents. Information about First Student (CCSD’s main transportation vendor), the First View app, bell times, bus safety, and bus stops is available in this section of the website. The Department of Student Information includes both PowerSchool-Help and Pupil Accounting. PowerSchool-Help manages and supports PowerSchool applications, gradebooks, report cards, and data validation, while Pupil Accounting is responsible for the submission of state reporting, attendance, enrollment data, and the support of school data specialists. Together these two entities support financial reporting and state/federal funding.
The Department of Student Support Services provides a continuum of support to students and families in the areas of relationship-centered learning, positive behavioral supports, mental health and wellness, substance use, and evaluation for special education services. The office also provides professional development and coaching to teachers and school staff in order to promote positive relationships and safe and supportive learning environments.
The Office of Security and Emergency Management team coordinates the district's comprehensive school safety program that incorporates the principles of prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
