Many Manufacturing jobs are so specialized, they require high levels of skills and training. Manufacturing is a highly competitive industry that continues to grow in South Carolina. The standards listed are intended to serve as guides to assist teachers and administrators in providing an instructional program that is current and relevant. The Manufacturing skill standards address what a worker needs to know and be able to do to contribute to a safe, productive, and effective work environment. Students will be properly prepared for their careers when the standards are integrated with quality instructional techniques. The standards provide a secure foundation for future training in the student's career.




    Program Description: Within the NCCER Core-infused Electronics Technology program, students demonstrate knowledge of electrical and electronics theory in hands-on practical applications that incorporate a solid background of physical science, algebraic, and geometric reasoning skills. Upon completion of the Electronics Technology program, students will be career and college ready, with opportunities to gain industry-recognized credentials.
