Many colleges are going test optional this year! What does that mean? Your application will be reviewed using a holistic method, taking into account all aspects of you as a student, from your GPA, extracurriculars, community service, and rigor of course load. You may submit test scores if you would like to, however those who do not WILL NOT be penalized. In these cases, test optional colleges will place more weight on the above factors. If you have previously submitted test scores that you do not want considered, you may choose to have them omitted from your application, therefore not negatively affecting your application. Please contact the admissions office for the colleges you are interested in in order to receive college specific information. Each process is slightly different.
