Nurse Suzanne

  • Nurse Suzanne MSN-HCSM, RN, graduated from Clemson with a BSN and went straight into a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit in Atlanta. Her career has spanned ICU to outpatient clinics to clinical trials. Ms. Suzanne earned her MSN-HCSM (Health Care System Management) from Loyola University New Orleans and since 2011, worked at MUSC as the nursing leader of a clinical program. In that role, her responsibilities included managing a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, as well as establishing policies, procedures, and workflows for patients with critical cardiac disease. Each professional experience has presented a different vantage point of healthcare system management, the evolving role of nursing and how varied are the expectations of healthcare by the public. I’m a working professional, mom of two ECMCS students, wife, friend, and nurse. We all wear multiple hats, I’m very much one of you. Our family has struggled with balancing schedules, supporting our girls through virtual learning, financial concerns, social and emotional strain, all of it. Throughout this time, though, we have felt truly blessed to be part of the ECMCS family.  My hope is to support you and your family as we traverse this constantly shifting, ever-evolving healthcare crisis together. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at, I would love to hear your thoughts on how we can work together to best serve your family and our ECMCS community.
