• East Cooper Center for Advanced Studies would like to personally invite our current eighth grade Laing families to the East Cooper Center for Advanced Studies (ECCAS) Virtual Open House on Monday, March 8th beginning at 6:00PM. Any student at Beckham or Wando High School is eligible to take courses at the ECCAS, and our school consists of four Academies (Cross-Curricular, Entrepreneur, Pre-Medicine, and STEM) that are broken into 19 Programs.  We would like to encourage you to join sessions from any class or program you might be interested in for the future.

    ECCO helps individuals and families with a range of services including food, clothing, emergency financial assistance, special holiday initiatives, comprehensive medical and dental care, medications,  counseling, educational opportunities including computer skills training, financial literacy workshops, job preparedness, an asset-development program, and ongoing case management. We serve households in financial distress – our programs reach the elderly, disabled, unemployed or underemployed, veterans,  families in generation poverty, and those experiencing situational poverty.
