• Ashley River uses a computer program, Accelerated Reader (AR), to enhance our reading program. When a student finishes a book, she can log on to her AR account and take a short quiz to show comprehension of the book and earn points based on the difficulty of the book. Teachers set quarterly AR point goals for each student. If a student reaches the goal, he will be invited to a reading celebration at the end of the quarter.

    AR quizzes can only be taken at school.
