    Hello J.B. Edwards Elementary Families!

I am excited to return as your School Nurse this Year!  If you need to drop off medications prior to the start of school or you wish to meet with me to discuss your student’s health care needs, I will be available by appointment on Aug 18th and 21st.

This is the internet link for more information about health care concerns and medication forms: https://www.ccsdschools.com/Page/1305

We can not accept “ Backpack” Medications from students. All medications need to be brought to the clinic by an adult. Please contact me if you have any questions.

    Appointments via Signup Genius;  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0948ACA62CA6F58-meeting

Please remember, the clinic is limited to the handling of minor illness and first aid cases that occur at school.  Accidents that happen at home should be treated at home. If a child becomes sick at school, they should be picked up as soon as possible. Any child with a temperature of 100 degrees or greater will be sent home and must stay at home until their temperature is less than 100 degrees for 24 hours without use of fever reducing medications such as Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin (ibuprofen).

    Thank you for your support!!!

    Nurse Nancy

Two emergency cards go home at the beginning of the school year in the blue folder and both need to be filled out and returned as soon as possible. One card is for the front office and one is for the clinic. It is very important that all students have a School Nurse Emergency card filled out front and back in the clinic.  The forms can be found here:
