Community Based Organization Funding

Due to continued inquiries from Community-based organizations (CBO), CCSD has developed an application process and business rules around funding organizations to ensure we are making strong fiscal, data-based decisions that support students.

Attached are instructions as well as an application outlining the application process for FY2025.  Applications will be accepted through February 2025.  Funding will be approved by the Board of Trustees in March 2025 and subsequently disbursed. Competitive funding has been budgeted in FY2025 in the amount of $200,000.  Please keep this in mind when submitting your application to ensure it is reasonable, as unreasonable requests could be deprioritized based on the alignment between program funding and performance.

In FY2026, those organizations that received funding would then be required to submit a report before the February 2026 deadline and submit their requests for the next year's funding.

Existing CBOs that have received funding in the current or prior years where the funding is provided through a non competitive process will still be required to submit the applicable information contained in the application.
