Customer Support

The Customer Support Department is made up of three teams. Each consists of a group of individuals committed to making sure that teachers and staff have the technological tools required to enhance the learning of children.

  • Help Desk
    • The Help Desk is the single point of contact for all IT requests.  Requests for service and support begin here. Technicians are ready to assist by phone and by using the District’s Heat Self-Service submission process. This team is committed to resolving most issues during the initial customer contact while providing an excellent customer experience. The Help Desk’s phone number is (843) 308-8181.
  • Field Support
    • When issues can’t be resolved remotely, our Field Support team arrives in person to assist. This team is trained to resolve a variety of issues and works to ensure technology is available to every student and staff member. Each Technician supports between 3 - 7 schools based on the number of students served in each. This team is committed to resolving issues within 2 business days.
  • Project Management
    • The Project Management team works to complete large scale projects such as providing technology infrastructure in new construction and renovations. Managing the life cycle of our end of line products is a major effort. This team is responsible for replacing all supported technology based on a predetermined lifecycle to ensure equipment remains current.
