Instructional Framework

Instructional Framework
An instructional framework is a shared understanding and commitment to a set of educational goals and principles that guide instruction, learning, and academic support within a district. Rooted in shared values and aspirations, the CCSD Instructional Framework serves as a guiding force for educational practices across our district. Defined by its domains of Planning, Instruction, Assessment, and Learning Environment and aligned with components of SCTS 4.0, this framework interconnects critical components to advance high-caliber academic instruction throughout every classroom within CCSD.

The CCSD Framework, with a student-centered approach, seeks to create an inclusive learning environment with culturally responsive instruction. Instruction is based on a standards-aligned curriculum that provides personalized learning experiences for all students. The Framework ensures that students receive equitable instruction to meet or exceed learner outcomes. The CCSD Framework of Effective Instruction identifies teaching behaviors encompassing effective instructional practice. The Framework may be used for many purposes, but its most significant value and impact is that it serves as the basis for professional planning conversations among educators.
