Overview
Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) is a web-based learning management system. Canvas is CCSD’s supported LMS. CCSD educators use Canvas to manage digital learning materials. Students use Canvas to access digital materials, show mastery of their learning, and receive feedback on their progress and growth. While Canvas is primarily a web-based software, any user can access Canvas on a mobile device from the Canvas Teacher, Canvas Student, and Canvas Parent apps. The Canvas LMS Administrator directly supports classrooms & learning across Charleston County School District by troubleshooting issues, and designing, leading, and facilitating Professional Learning for educators, as well as keeping users updated on changes to Canvas.
