Title I and Federal Programs

How We Directly Support Schools

The purpose of the Title I Office is to develop, coordinate, administer, and monitor for compliance the following federally-funded programs:  Title I, Part A; Title I, Part C – Migrant Education; Title I, Part D – Neglected and Delinquent Programs; and Title IX, Part A – McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.  We are committed to the school district’s mission of educating and supporting every child in achieving college, career, and citizenship readiness.    

Our Core Services

Our core services consist of providing ongoing technical assistance to Title I schools and other applicable entities for the development, implementation, and monitoring of programs as allowable by federal funds.  In addition, we provide enrichment programs for families of Multilingual Learners (MLs), student supportive health services, and services for displaced homeless families, neglected and delinquent site programs, and Title I charter and private schools, where applicable.
