Attendance Celebration

Charleston County School District is proud to host our third annual “Be Here, Be Great: Boots on the Ground” Attendance Celebration—a high-energy, western-themed experience designed to recognize and reward students who show up and stay committed all year long.

What is the Attendance Celebration?

This end-of-year celebration is all about recognizing students who demonstrate strong attendance and dedication to their success.

Students who meet attendance goals earn an exclusive invitation to their grade-level event.

It’s our way of saying: Showing up matters—and we see you!

Who Can Attend?

Students earn their invitation by maintaining strong attendance throughout the school year.

• Grades K–7: Students who are present at least 97% of the school year
• Grades 8–12: Students who are present at least 97% of the school year

Attendance expectations may vary slightly by school, but the goal is the same: Be here. Be great.

Why It Matters

Attendance is more than a requirement—it’s a habit that builds success. By celebrating attendance in a fun and engaging way, we’re helping students connect positive experiences with showing up every day.
