Future Teacher Highlight Series
Charleston County School District (CCSD) is investing in its future by growing the next generation of teachers right here at home. Through Elevate Charleston, high school students with a passion for education step into real classrooms as interns during their junior and senior years, gaining hands-on experience that prepares them to lead. By the time they graduate from college, these students aren’t just ready to teach—they’re ready to return to CCSD classrooms and inspire the next wave of learners.
