Project Overview

Our Education Innovation & Research (EIR) project focuses on individualized professional learning for educators. The project innovation is focused on self-selected professional learning. The project research is focused on whether there is a link between self-selected professional learning and student outcomes. 

The goal of the project is to improve school climate, improve student engagement, and improve student achievement.

If. . . educators have access to teacher-directed professional learning through an allowance to cover professional learning costs, a high-quality self-assessment, and ongoing professional learning support, 

Then. . . this change will lead to instructional practices that empower the achievement of students.
