CCSD Education Foundation is a new philanthropic initiative focused on strengthening public education through community partnerships and private support.
The CCSD Education Foundation will serve as the center for innovation, investment, and collaboration, aligning community generosity with strategic district priorities. It will help drive progress across Charleston County’s public schools by enhancing classroom instruction, recognizing outstanding educators, and supporting family engagement and student well-being.
Our Vision
The Charleston County School District Education Foundation mission is for all students, parents, teachers, and schools to succeed through the support of philanthropy, industry, and partnership.
The Role of Education Foundations:
- Raise private funding to bolster the district
- Advocate for public education and school improvement
- Provide positive public relations
- Serve as a voice championing the school district
- Build bridges between the public and the district
- Foster the relationships between our schools and the community
