2025-2026 STAR Principal Recognitions

Charleston County School District (CCSD) recognized six Star Principals of the Year on Friday, December 5, 2025. They were nominated by their peers and selected through a competitive application process based on their leadership and work to improve student outcomes and implement strategic change.

This year's STAR Principal Honorees:

• Corey McDonald Named 2025 Star Rookie Principal for CCSD
• Chris Haynes Named 2025 Star Principal for CCSD’s Middle School Learning Community

• Vanessa Brown Named 2025 Star Principal for CCSD’s High School Learning Community

• Paul Pallagi Named 2025 Star Principal for CCSD’s Elevation Learning Community

• Judith Condon Named 2025 Star Principal for CCSD’s Elementary Learning Community
