  • James Otis Award

    These lovely ladies traveled to the State Assembly House in Columbia, to receive the James C. Otis Scholars Award. This is awarded to students who excel in History and Civics in celebration of Constitution Day.

  • Clear Bag Policy

    Beginning in August, CCSD is instituting a “clear bag or no bag” entry procedure for all school football and basketball games. Spectators will be required to enter without a bag or with a clear bag that does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. School staff will be on hand to visually screen the contents of bags.

    Our educational philosophy is based on high-quality instruction, a culture of high expectations, a belief that all students can excel and a “whatever it takes” attitude. Every member of our team has pledged to diligently continue the mission to ensure that all students secure the academic knowledge and skills to excel in college and beyond. Baptist Hill Middle High School is a comprehensive community school that serves students in grades 6-12. The school is located in the southern region of Charleston County in the rural community of Hollywood, South Carolina. The school’s demographic make-up reflects the rural population of the surrounding communities of Hollywood, Edisto, Adams Run, Ravenel, and Meggett.
