CCSD grows number of Excellent, Good, & Average schools by nearly 7%

The SC Department of Education and the Education Oversight Committee (EOC) released Report Cards with ratings for all schools for the first time since 2019.  

Schools receive an Overall Rating as well as ratings on various indicators. The indicators used to determine the overall rating for each school may include Academic Achievement, Student Progress, Preparing for Success, School Climate, English Learner’s Progress, Graduation Rate, and College and Career Readiness. Overall ratings are EXCELLENT, GOOD, AVERAGE, BELOW AVERAGE, UNSATISFACTORY.
