CCSD's 10th annual gala, An Evening with the Stars presents Through the Decades was held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Embassy Suites North Charleston Convention Center. 

This year’s event celebrated our shared journey, increasing awareness of public education through community partnerships, and helped fund our annual Charleston Educator Symposium (CES). The CES is a premier three-day professional development event designed to elevate instruction and achievement in every classroom across CCSD.

The funds raised from this gala will directly support this vital program for our principals, district leaders, and teachers. 

On Saturday night, CCSD held it's 10th Annual CCSD Gala to recognize the 2025 Teachers of the Year and 2026 Principals of the Year. The evening's theme was “Through the Decades”

TWO Teachers of the Year were surprised to win brand-new Subarus. generously provided by Crews Chevrolet as a one-year lease.
