The nautical-themed An Evening with the Stars, Charleston County School District’s (CCSD) annual gala and silent auction was held on Saturday evening, May 4, 2024, at the Charleston Marriott on Lockwood Boulevard.  

This beloved tradition is the district’s signature event to recognize outstanding educators.  Your support is critical to our plans to celebrate the work and dedication of CCSD’s educators. 

This year’s event will increase awareness of public education through community partnerships; recognize the accomplishments of outstanding teachers and administrators who are elevating the achievement of all students; and help fund our annual summer Charleston Educator Symposium for CCSD principals and teachers.  The Symposium is a premier three-day learning event designed to elevate instruction and achievement in every classroom across the country. 

The 2023 Charleston Educator Symposium "Making Dreams Come True", gave administrators, teachers, and support staff the opportunity to enrich their professional development with the goal of elevating instruction and achievement in every classroom across the county.
