Instructions for 2023-2024 Accepted Transfer Students

Congratulations if you have been offered a seat as a transfer student!

It is very important that if you have been offered a seat as a transfer student at a CCSD school, you must accept or decline this offer. This decision should be done within ten days. If a decision is not made, your seat may be assigned to another student.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO ACCEPT ONLY ONE (1) SEAT OFFER. YOU CAN NOT ACCEPT SEAT OFFERS FROM MULTIPLE SCHOOLS. In accepting this seat you are confirming your decision regarding transfer schools for the 2023-2024 school year and declining all other seat offers from transfer schools included in your application. Your position on the waiting list of any other schools that you applied for will be released upon accepting this seat.
Registration and Residency verification:

PLEASE NOTE: Being offered a seat at a school does not register your student for that school, online registration is required for all students for the 2023-2024 school year. Offered seats will be considered pending until the student's residency is verified by the school.

Residency Verification is required for all transfer students that attend a CCSD school. The deadline to complete residency verification is June 30, 2023 or within ten days after being offered a seat at a school.

There are excellent videos available. These include instructions on the registration process and documentation needed. There are also videos about accessing Parent Portal. If a parent doesn’t remember the email account they used when registering for Parent Portal, they should contact their student’s school. If they have forgotten their password, there is a video that walks through the steps for resetting a password.

Parents/Guardians

You will need to register your child for their zoned school. Their zoned school will be notified of your child's new school and your child's records and other information will be electronically transferred to your child's new school.
