Our Mission
-
The mission of the Office of Multilingual Services and Outreach (MSO) is to provide training, tools, and resources to parents, teachers, and district-wide staff in order to support and enhance the academic achievement of our Multilingual students.
Program Goals:
By 2027, the percentage of ML students in the 4-year cohort who graduate college and/or career ready will increase from 67.7% to 86.2%By 2027, the percentage of ML students that will become proficient in English within at least five years of their initial enrollment in public schools will increase from 47.7% to 62.7%
By June 2025, all staff members in CCSD will receive training around serving the ML population that aligns with their position.
