"Let's Get Engaged" Attendance Campaign
-
In preparation for the 2021-2022 school year, the Charleston County School District (CCSD) Attendance/Truancy Project Team is asking everyone to do their part, and LET’S GET ENGAGED! As CCSD launches it’s 2021-2022 LET’S GET ENGAGED! attendance campaign, families, community partners, and CCSD staff are encouraged to be present, be involved, and be motivated to increase engagement and school attendance by providing resources, support, and encouragement to our students. The pandemic has brought about many hardships for our schools, students, and families. Many students struggled to adjust to online learning and hybrid models. Student engagement was impacted drastically and in many cases negatively. In an effort to increase school-wide attendance and academic achievement, the CCSD Attendance/Truancy Project Team is asking for everyone to support the LET’S GET ENGAGED! attendance campaign reminding students, families, and community partners that every day counts. This year-long effort will only be successful with your support. School success starts with attendance!#CCSDLetsGetEngaged
