  • 2) Will parents be able to choose an online-only option?

    Posted by:

Yes. For the 2020-2021 school year, CDA students will have an option to enroll in the district's Virtual Academy. K-8 students may exit Virtual Academy at the end of any 9 weeks; middle school students that are registered in a high school credit course may exit at semester's end.

  • 3) What were the results of the recent parent survey?

    Posted by:

CDA will use guidance from the AccelerateED Task Force, DHEC, and the CDC. Temperature checks will be in place before students enter the building each school day. Students who become ill, and/or exhibit symptoms at school will be isolated and a parent/guardian will be contacted to take them home. In addition to our school staff, we are working with a professional cleaning operation who will have personnel on campus each day to clean and disinfect surfaces and objects that are frequently touched.
