2021 Board Elections
2021 Board Election Process
Allegro Charter School of Music is working with the Public Charter School Alliance of South Carolina (PCSASC) to hold this year’s election process. This ensures integrity and confidentiality in the process.
The governing board consists of 7 members. Three elected seats, each for a term of two years, are currently up for election.

Election: The voting process will open on February 23, 2021 at 7AM and close on February 25, 2021 at 7PM. Voting will occur via e-ballot links emailed to each parent/guardian and employee of Allegro Charter School of Music. Computers will be available at the school during normal school hours for those who may need additional assistance.
*There is one vote per child enrolled in the school and one vote per employee. Voting will be available via e-ballot allowing parents and employees to vote via the internet. Each ballot will have a unique pin number to ensure confidentiality and integrity of the process.
Certification of Results: Election results will be certified and announced publicly on February 26, 2021.
Swearing-In: Newly elected board members will be sworn in at the board meeting on March 8, 2021. This will complete the election process.
Meeting & Training Requirements: Allegro Charter School of Music Board Members are required to attend all board meetings.
Mandated Board Training- All board members are required by state law to attend board training within 1 year of taking office. Free trainings will be offered across the state by the Public Charter School Alliance of South Carolina.
