Advanced Placement (AP)
Advanced Placement (AP) is a curriculum program in high school that offers standardized courses to high school students that are generally recognized to be equivalent to undergraduate courses in college. Students taking AP courses earn 1 high school credit. In the spring students take an AP exam that is scored on a 1-5 scale. Participating colleges grant undergraduate credit to students who obtain a score or 3 or higher on the exams.
RB Stall offers the following AP courses:
- English Literature & Composition
- English Language & Composition
- World History
- US History
- US Government
- Spanish Language and Culture
- Calculus AB
- Calculus BC
- Human Geography
- Envorinmental Science
Students interested in participating in AP courses should prepare by taking as many honors level courses as possible. Teacher recommendation is required to participate.
