2022 - 2023 SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS
ENGLISH
English department summer reading will not be required. However, we strongly recommend you take advantage of one or more of the following options:
- Participate in the CCPL summer reading program.
- Read ebooks or listen to audiobooks through SORA, either CCPL (username is your school username, pw is last 4 of your student iD) or JICHS SORA (username is your school username), or AudioBookSync.
- PIck up your free JI reads book during summer camp (rising 9th graders) or before summer (rising 10-12)
- Go to the JICHS Virtual Library for details and instructions, or you may Ask a Librarian.

Due to the shortness of the break this year, Social Studies has decided to waive all summer assignments for students. However, incoming freshmen taking AP Human Geography will have a short, but necessary assignment which can be found here: AP Human Geography.
