Hello! I am a former Wando graduate and am so happy to be back here as a teacher. I have B.A. degrees in Mathematical Sciences and Secondary Education from Clemson University and am currently pursuing a M.A. degree in Mathematical Sciences. I love learning and try to instill this in each of my students throughout the year. When I am not teaching or studying, I like to enjoy time with my husband and our new puppy, ride my bike, play piano, go to the beach, and watch my tigers play football!Please contact me for Google Classroom code.

I bring 31 years of experience teaching and helping students learn the fundamentals and importance of mathematics. My previous teaching experiences range from seventh grade through 12th grade mathematics. I’ve taught a broad range of math courses at all levels, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus and Statistics.  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and my Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from The University of Akron.  I am a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics.  I coach softball for Wando High School. I enjoy having the opportunity to work outside the classroom with this group of outstanding young ladies. I am also a driving education instructor/tester for Premier Driving School.  I am a recent transplant to the Charleston area. My family relocated from Olmsted Falls, Ohio. I live in Mt. Pleasant. My daughter Annalise graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Chemical Engineering. My daughter Audra is a sophomore at the University of Florida studying Health Sciences. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time at the beach, playing golf, watching all types and levels of athletic events, and reading.  I am looking forward to an exciting and successful year at Wando High School.  Go Warriors!

My name is Whitney Coker.  This is my sixth year teaching at Wando.  I teach freshman algebra, and love every second of it!  I am so excited to see what the year holds. I have a BS in Chemistry from Furman University and a MAT in Secondary Math Education from The Citadel Graduate College.  When not at Wando I enjoy exercising and being outside.  I love visiting new places and learning about different cultures.  One of my all-time favorite things to do is hang out of the beach with good friends!  I am thrilled to be a part of the Wando family again this year.  Room E-213.

Thank you for visiting my web page.  My name is Lisa Luttrell and this is my twelfth year teaching at Wando High School.  I was born and raised in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.  I earned my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics Education from Auburn University and then returned to Atlanta where I taught for 12 years.  After my move to Charleston, I began teaching at Wando and earned my M.Ed. in Mathematics from the Citadel.  I currently live in the Mount Pleasant area with my fabulous son Nevin (pictured) and our dog Charlie (admission, this picture is about 8 years old!). I also coach both the Math Team and the Coding Team as well as sponsor Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honors Society).  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Aaron Stahl has been in the field of Education as a High School Math Teacher for fifteen years.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Duquesne University and His Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from The Citadel Graduate School.  Aaron is an avid sports fan.  He cheers for the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL) and Penguins (NHL).  His hobbies include reading political espionage novels, working out and landscaping.  Aaron is happily married and has two school age daughters.  They spend their time together reading kids’ stories, going to the beach and taking family bicycle rides.
