Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! It is my pleasure to be a part of the James Island Elementary family. I am fortunate to be entering my 27th year with Charleston County School District. I have served in many leadership roles throughout my tenure and being the principal of JIES is one of the most fulfilling. Moving James Island Elementary to the next level with strong academic programs, knowledgeable staff members, and the development of partnerships is a goal that I hope we can achieve. Achieving this goal will take teamwork and a committed partnership. Our committed partnership includes students, parents, teachers, all staff/faculty members, the district, and our community that are committed to developing responsible lifelong learners.
