Welcome to Dunston

  • Dunston Families,

    In regards to the recent message shared by Governor McMaster that all South Carolina schools will be closed from now through March 31. It is our priority to still provide educational and social-emotional support to our scholars during this time.  Please see important information below as it relates to the services we will be providing during this extended school closing:  

    1. Student Work (required) - Student work  may be picked up from Dunston Elementary between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m  Monday 3/16 and Tuesday 3/17 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. There will be instructions on how to communicate with your child’s teacher included as a part of the student work packets.
    2. Meals- Meals will be served at designated schools during the entire time schools are closed beginning Monday, March 16. The closest location for Dunston students will be the School of the Arts there is more information posted on the CCSD website. Any student up through age 18 may receive meals from the designated sites.
    3. Teacher Communication- Teachers will be available from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Monday -Friday for academic questions. Contact information will be in your students' take home packet.
